These earrings have been created out of polymer clay. They are a result of what is called a Millefiori Cane. Millefiori is an Italian term which means “Thousand flowers” and is a very common practice in blown glass. Due to the incredibly versatile nature of polymer clay, it lends itself very nicely to this technique. The clay is shaped into a long log of clay which holds the identical pattern in it and then it is sliced disked shape for application to an earring. The patterns on the clay are so unique that once the clay is used up, the pattern is no longer available and everything else will be a derivative of the pattern. These are truly one of a kind.

These earrings have been handcrafted from Polymer clay and are mounted on 10mm gold plated clipon earrings. They have been cemented on using jeweler’s cement. All small parts have been baked on and have been re-enforced with liquid clay and/or cement. Additional embellishments include but not limited to; glitters, mica powders, swavorski crystals, and other inclusions during baking.

They have been twice baked and twice varnished for additional strength.

These earrings are durable, but they can break so handle gently. They may pose a choking hazard so please keep them away from little mouths.
